To ensure the longevity and performance of your springs, they are included in the box but not pre-installed. Installing the springs is quick and easy, and we’ve got you covered with a step-by-step spring installation video to guide you.

Streaming Somato classes is easy with the Somato App, available for $29/month.

The Somato app is compatible with iOS and Android tablets, phones, smart TVs, and laptops. You’ll receive a download link for the app when your reformer arrives, giving you access to unlimited on-demand and live classes tailored to your needs.

The Somato rubber springs are made of high-quality latex and engineered to withstand rigorous use. Under normal conditions, they’ve been known to last up to 5 years, but to ensure optimal performance and safety, we recommend replacing them every 6 months.

The advantage of our rubber springs is that they’re quieter, lighter, and more environmentally friendly than traditional metal springs. Plus, we’re working on a recycling program so you can easily send your used springs back to us for repurposing into other products, like rubber flooring.

The compact, low-to-the-ground design of the Somato reformer opens up opportunities for new exercises and advanced balancing movements while providing increased confidence, especially for standing exercises. This thoughtful design ensures that any exercise possible on a studio reformer can be adapted for use on the Somato.

If you’re looking for a more traditional studio-like experience, we’re currently developing attachable leg risers to elevate the reformer without compromising its foldable convenience. With the Somato app, you’ll have access to a library of live and on-demand classes specifically tailored to the reformer, as well as a supportive community to help you explore and master these movements.

Yes! All Somato reformers include removable shoulder blocks to expand your workout options.

The Somato reformer is designed for easy maintenance. Wipe down the frame and upholstery with a damp cloth and mild household cleaner after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the materials.

Shipping is a flat rate of $299 within the continental United States. At this time, we are unable to ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

We want you to love your Somato reformer. If you’re not satisfied, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be in original condition and packaging. While the reformer can be used independently, the Somato app is designed to enhance your experience with a variety of workouts, live and on-demand classes, and instructional videos.

The reformer is designed for indoor use. While it’s lightweight and portable, exposure to the elements can damage the materials. We recommend keeping it indoors to ensure its longevity.

We will be offering flexible financing plans in April 2025 to make owning a Somato reformer accessible.

Of course! The Somato app features beginner-friendly classes and step-by-step guides to help you get started. It’s perfect for anyone new to Pilates or returning after a break.

The Carriage is 41" long and 21.5" wide. With the shoulder blocks in, your torso will have about 32" of space. To check if you will comfortably fit on the carriage, sit on the floor with your back flat against the wall. Then measure from the top of your shoulder to the floor. If that distance is less than 32" you should comfortably fit on the carriage.
